5th Annual Thanksgiving Celebration

Come Create Joyful Memories With Us!

The holiday season can be a difficult time for many, so Change 1 has created this celebration to provide a family atmosphere for the holidays and hopefully create joyful memories for kids in foster care. This year in addition to the Thanksgiving Celebration we will have an awards presentation to recognize youth in care, alumni, area nonprofits and community groups who are excelling in meeting the needs of Foster Care youth, along with a fun evening of music, raffle prizes, and much more!

We want youth in care and young adults formerly in care to know:

  • That they always have a seat at our table
  • That their voices, talents, insights and mutual encouragement are what lies at the heart of this celebration
  • That it is an honor for us to stay in touch with them, as they enter into young adulthood, find their places in this world and move beyond the shadows of their past to build bright futures and families of their own
