Camp Glimmer

In 2021, Change 1 was honored to participate in Camp Glimmer, hosted by Camp Candlelight. This enriching partnership continues today, providing youth transitioning out of foster care with transformative camp experiences. Camp Glimmer offers a wide range of activities designed to foster community, personal growth, and resilience among participants. These activities include outdoor adventures, team-building exercises, and creative workshops, all aimed at empowering young individuals and helping them build valuable life skills.

The collaboration between Change 1 and Camp Candlelight has been instrumental in supporting our mission to empower and uplift Foster Care Alumni. By providing a safe and nurturing environment, Camp Glimmer allows these young people to create lasting memories, form meaningful connections, and develop a strong sense of self-worth.
